What’s not to like about the name of this track and its lyrics.. Which is also the name of the album it comes from. Love simply Is A Basic Need isn’t it..

The video showcases the band on an almost live setting. Accompanied by a small orchestral section and a choir providing those soothing choral vocals. That the band and their harmonious anthems and outros are renowned for.

Embrace are my favourite band.. Well one of them.. I have seen these loads around the UK and had the chance to get tickets for an intimate gig at Manchester Academy which was very cool to be in a crowd of around a few hundred instead of the bigger venues.

I was also lucky to have been at the opening of Dannys Aftershow Gigs in the late 2000’s thanks to Spooner (Noels guitar tech).. As he started to stream live events and interviews online. I must add he was a good year after us but they do a lot of good for music and life.
